Established in 1975, the Jacksonville Seminole Club is governed by its elected Board of Directors and is affiliated with the Alumni Association of the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization for fans, alumni, and friends of FSU in Northeast Florida. We encourage you to join the Alumni Association and/or Seminole Boosters and to become not only a member of the Jacksonville Seminole Club but also all of the Seminole Clubs across the United States.
The Club has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Florida State University since we began in 1975 and we continue to donate annually to FSU for both academic and athletic needs. Through two signature events – The Spring Tour where Coach Jimbo Fisher speaks to JAX alumni, following an exciting golf tournament, and our Fall Kickoff event where ‘The Voice of the Noles’ Gene Deckerhoff, provides an upcoming preview of the football season – we raise fund for our multiple scholarships and endowments. Academically, the club hosts an annual Seminole Sendoff where we gather all Northeast Florida high school grads and their parents to hear from FSU Alumni Association officials and other graduates from the area.
In addition to these great events, we periodically host events for featured guest speakers such as President Thrasher. During football season, we host multiple game watch events. Our primary game watch location is at Whiskey Jax – Baymeadows, with a new, casual, game watch at Atlantic Beach Brewing Company.
Be sure to visit the Events tab to sign up for special events. In addition to the website, announcements of the meetings, guest speakers, and upcoming events are updated regularly on the Jacksonville Seminole Club page on Facebook and on Twitter under the handle @JaxNolesClub.
On behalf of our 700+ members, we want to thank you for visiting our website, and we invite you to join us for an upcoming event.
